Potatoes
  • 3-4 pieces russet potatoes Use russet potatoes for the best taste and texture.
Toppings and Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter Brushed on potatoes for crispiness.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Use cheddar or your favorite cheese.
  • 2 tablespoons green onion Chopped.
  • 4 slices bacon Cooked and crumbled.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the russet potatoes into slices.
  3. Brush the slices with butter and season with salt and pepper.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove from oven and add shredded cheese, chopped green onion, and bacon on top.
  3. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with sour cream for dipping.

Notes
