Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package cheese tortellini (20 oz)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sliced bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
  2. Add the ground beef and garlic to the skillet, cooking until the beef is browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in the cooked tortellini and provolone cheese over low heat until the cheese melts and everything is well combined.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy! You can serve it right out of the skillet or plate it for your guests. A sprinkle of extra provolone cheese on top adds a nice touch.

Notes

Make sure to drain the tortellini well so the dish doesn’t get too watery. You can add spices or herbs like Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper for extra flavor. If you want a lighter version, you can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
