  • 1 lb Ground beef Browned and seasoned
  • 4 slices Crispy bacon
  • 1 medium Sliced onion
  • 1 cup Pickles Sliced
  • 1 medium Tomato Sliced
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce
  • 4 pieces Lightly toasted sub buns
  • 4 slices American or Cheddar cheese For melting on beef

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brown your ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, adding salt, pepper, and onion powder for flavor.
  2. Drain the grease from the beef and place cheese on top of the meat in the pan to melt.
  3. Fry the bacon in another pan until it’s crispy.
  4. Split the sub buns and toast them lightly in the oven or on the stovetop with a bit of butter.
  5. Pile the cheesy beef into the toasted buns.
  6. Top your subs with crispy bacon and load them with fresh veggies and pickles.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using lean ground beef. Customize toppings based on your preference. Toasting the sub buns adds extra crunch and flavor.
