Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • cup raw cashews, soaked for 2 to 4 hours Soaking is crucial for a smooth blend.
  • 6 pieces Medjool dates, pitted and soaked for 10 minutes
  • 1 piece frozen banana
  • ¾ cup water Adjust to desired consistency.
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg Feel free to experiment with spices.
  • pinch cinnamon
  • pinch sea salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soak the cashews for 2 to 4 hours and the Medjool dates for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the cashews and dates.
Blending
  1. Add the soaked cashews, dates, frozen banana, water, ice, vanilla extract, nutmeg, cinnamon, and sea salt to a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend on high until thick and creamy.
Serving
  1. Pour the date shake into glasses.
  2. Garnish with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Storing: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Stir before consuming as it may separate. Tips: Add protein powder or almond butter for an extra nutritional boost.
