  • 6 pieces plain bagels, sliced in half
  • 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white country gravy
  • 1 cup cooked sausage crumbles
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C) and arrange the cut bagels on a baking sheet.
  2. Smear a generous layer of cream cheese over the cut side of each bagel half.
  3. Pour a little gravy on top, followed by the cooked sausage crumbles and bacon bits.
  4. Cover the entire surface with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbling hot, about 20-25 minutes.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To reheat, warm individual portions in the microwave or heat the whole dish in the oven. For variation, substitute different meats or cheeses, and consider adding extra vegetables.
