Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares.
- Place a small cube of brie, a few pieces of blackberry, and some diced jalapeño in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry squares over the filling and seal them.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These sizzle bites are best served warm. You can serve them with a dipping sauce, like a sweet chili sauce or a honey drizzle. To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
