Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing Or any other dressing of your choice
Seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
Assembling the Salad
  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, pickles, and cooked ground beef.
  2. Top the salad with shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the salad just before serving.
  4. Toss gently to combine and enjoy your Big Mac Salad!

Notes

Serve in individual bowls with extra Thousand Island dressing on the side. Pair with crispy tortilla chips or breadsticks. For extra flavor, add garlic powder or hot sauce to the ground beef.
