Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup pickles, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
Dressing and Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup thousand island dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pickles, cheddar cheese, cooked ground beef, and red onion.
  2. Drizzle thousand island dressing over the salad and mix well to combine.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Garnish with sesame seeds.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve the salad right after making for the best taste. Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but store the dressing separately until ready to eat.
