  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing on the baguette slices.
For the Beef
  • 1 pound beef tenderloin, trimmed Make sure the beef is at room temperature before cooking.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For the cream sauce.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Stir in until melted and smooth.
  • to taste none Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef tenderloin on all sides until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest before slicing thinly.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Assembly
  1. Place sliced beef on toasted baguette slices and drizzle with the Parmesan cream sauce.
  2. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Store components separately to maintain freshness. The cooked beef can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. The baguette should be stored in a paper bag, and the Parmesan cream sauce can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
