Method
Preparation of Meatballs
- Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into large meatballs.
- Heat oil in a pan and sear the meatballs until they are brown on all sides.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and let it simmer until the meatballs are cooked through, about 15–20 minutes.
- Optionally, finish cooking in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
Cooking the Beef Stew
- Sear the cubed beef in a pot over high heat until browned.
- Add minced garlic, tomato sauce, and red wine.
- Toss in the diced potatoes and chopped carrots.
- Let it all simmer until the beef is tender and the sauce thickens, about 35–45 minutes.
- Use a pressure cooker to speed this up to about 20–25 minutes.
Cooking the Steak with Onions
- Season the beef steak with salt and pepper.
- Cook it in a hot pan until it's browned.
- Remove the steak and cook the sliced onions in the same pan until soft.
- Add the steak back in and drizzle with soy sauce.
Cooking the Beef Fajitas
- In a hot pan, cook the beef strips until browned.
- Add the sliced red and green bell peppers and onions.
- Stir-fry for about 5–7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Serve in warm tortillas.
Notes
Enhance flavor with fresh ingredients. Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking; it can make the meat steam rather than brown. For extra flavor, marinate the steak before cooking. Adjust seasoning according to your taste preferences.
