  • ¼ cup yogurt Use Greek yogurt for higher protein.
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup Adjust to taste.
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch cinnamon (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl or directly in a jar, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
  2. Add the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla, and cinnamon to the mashed banana.
  3. Stir thoroughly until everything is well combined, ensuring the oats are fully coated with liquid.
  4. Cover the jar or container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  5. In the morning, give the oats a gentle stir and top with fresh banana slices, crushed graham crackers, shredded coconut, or a dollop of whipped yogurt.

Notes

Keep refrigerated for up to 3 days. Store in airtight containers or mason jars for meal prep. For added protein, consider adding chia seeds, protein powder, or peanut butter.
