Main Ingredients
  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli No need to thaw or pre-cook.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese For extra creaminess.
Seasonings and Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For greasing the baking dish.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for heat.
  • fresh parsley For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Spread a single layer of frozen cheese ravioli on the bottom of the dish.
  4. Pour half of the marinara sauce over the ravioli, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan. Add spoonfuls of ricotta cheese across the surface.
  5. Add another layer of ravioli, followed by the remaining sauce and cheeses. Sprinkle with garlic powder, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes if using.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  3. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

This dish can be customized by adding meat such as ground beef or sausage, veggies, or swapping the marinara for another sauce like Alfredo or pesto. You can make it ahead of time and refrigerate, or freeze it unbaked and bake directly from frozen.
