Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fruits
  • 1 cup diced apples

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature; can be topped with powdered sugar or icing. To store, place in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days, or refrigerate for a week. Freeze for longer preservation.
