- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples.
Baking
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Frying (optional)
- If desired, fry in oil for a crispier texture and drain on paper towels.
Serving
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
