Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced Use fresh apples for best flavor.
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
Baking
  1. Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Let cool and serve.

Notes

Best served warm. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel or maple syrup for extra sweetness. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
