Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup apples, diced Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, combine the diced apples, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with maple syrup. They are also delicious with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days at room temperature, a week in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to three months.
