Preparation
  1. Add the softened cream cheese to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, and chopped bacon.
  3. Mix everything together until fully combined and creamy.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball using clean hands or plastic wrap.
  5. Roll the outside in extra shredded cheddar and chopped bacon until fully coated.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour so it firms up.
  7. Place on a serving plate and arrange crackers around it.
  8. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

Store tightly wrapped in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. Leftovers are tasty served cold. You can make the cheese ball a day ahead of time or freeze for 1-2 months.
