Preparation
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Cooking
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, and guacamole on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve.
Notes
Serve hot with a side of tomato soup, salad, or crispy potato chips. Add extra guacamole or salsa on the side for dipping. If you have leftovers, let the sandwich cool completely, then wrap tightly in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
