Preparation
- Cook the ground beef with diced onion, salt, and pepper in a skillet until the meat is browned. Drain any extra grease.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom buns in a baking dish.
- Spread a little ketchup and mustard over the rolls.
- Add the cooked beef, chopped bacon, and cheddar cheese slices on top. Add pickles if you like.
- Place the top buns back on.
- Brush melted butter over the top buns and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
Cooking
- Bake in the oven at 350°F for about 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
Notes
Serve hot with extra condiments on the side. Pair with fries, chips, or salad. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 2–3 days; reheat in the oven.
