  • 1.5 lb 1 1/2 lb (700 g) ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 large 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 slices 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 0.5 cup 1/2 cup diced onions
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise) to taste

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder while cooking. Cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Lay out the flour tortillas and place a portion of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
  4. Add the cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and diced onions on top.
  5. Drizzle with your choice of condiments.
  6. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom.
  7. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and toast the burrito on each side until golden brown.
  8. Slice the burrito in half and serve.

Notes

Serve the burrito warm on a plate. You can add extra condiments or side dishes like fries or a salad to complete the meal. If you have leftovers, wrap the burritos tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month. To reheat, simply microwave or toast them until heated through.
