  • 1 tube 12.4 oz tube cinnamon rolls Refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 1 can 21 oz can apple pie filling Pre-made apple pie filling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray a muffin or cupcake pan with cooking spray.
  2. Open the tube of cinnamon rolls and separate the dough rounds.
  3. Flatten each cinnamon roll slightly and press it into the bottom of each muffin cup.
  4. Create a small indentation in the center of each dough round to hold the apple filling.
  5. Spoon a generous portion of apple pie filling into the center of each dough cup.
  6. Place the pan into the oven and bake until the dough becomes puffy and the edges turn golden brown.
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  8. Drizzle the included cinnamon roll glaze over the warm pastries.

Notes

Cutting the apple slices into smaller chunks allows them to fit more easily in the cups. Pressing the dough firmly into the pan helps hold the filling. Serve warm for best texture and flavor.
