Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until well combined.
- Add the oil and milk to the mixture and stir until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- If desired, fold in the diced apples.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Spread butter on top for extra flavor. A sprinkle of powdered sugar is a nice touch for special occasions. Wrap in plastic wrap or foil for storage; lasts 2-3 days at room temperature.
