Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Feel free to add extra for more spice.
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 cup diced apples For added texture, optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until well combined.
  3. Add the oil and milk to the mixture and stir until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. If desired, fold in the diced apples.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  2. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Spread butter on top for extra flavor. A sprinkle of powdered sugar is a nice touch for special occasions. Wrap in plastic wrap or foil for storage; lasts 2-3 days at room temperature.
