  • 1 cup peanut butter Can substitute with almond butter or any nut butter.
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Increase for a sweeter treat.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix brown sugar and peanut butter until well combined.
  2. Stir in oats until evenly mixed.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Press mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. For an extra crunch, consider adding chopped nuts like walnuts or almonds. Make sure to press the mixture firmly into the pan for nicely shaped bars. You can customize by adding mix-ins like dried fruit or using creamy or crunchy peanut butter.
