Ingredients
  

For the stuffing mixture
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter Melted
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 5 cups stale bread, cut into cubes Use stale bread for best texture
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 large egg, well beaten
  • 1/4 cup no-salt-added chicken broth

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add celery and onion, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine bread, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix in the cooked onion and celery.
  4. Add the beaten egg to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and mix until fully incorporated.
  6. Roll the stuffing mixture into 8 equal-sized balls.
  7. Transfer the balls to a plate and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
  2. Lightly spray the stuffing balls with cooking spray.
  3. Place them in the air fryer sprayed side down, ensuring they do not touch one another.
  4. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Cook in the preheated air fryer for 5 minutes, turn, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Notes

Serve with gravy, cranberry sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce. For a festive touch, sprinkle fresh herbs on top before serving.
