Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, squash, green bell pepper, and mushrooms.
- Add Tamari, olive oil, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to the bowl. Toss until everything is fully combined.
Cooking
- Place half of the hibachi mixture in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-9 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Remove the cooked mixture and add the remaining shrimp mixture to the basket. Cook for another 8-9 minutes.
Serving
- Serve the air fryer shrimp hibachi as is for a low-carb meal or with some yum yum sauce on the side.
Notes
Ensure the shrimp is fully peeled and deveined for best flavor. Cut vegetables into similar sizes for even cooking. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed. Don’t skip the sesame oil for added flavor.
