Method
Preparation
- Start by patting the cubed salmon dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
- Place the cubed salmon in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Stir gently to coat the salmon evenly.
- Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the salmon and stir again until all pieces are coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer, if needed, and place the salmon bites in a greased air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 400 degrees for about 6-7 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and slightly browned. Remember to gently shake the basket halfway through the cooking time for even cooking.
Serving
- To serve, add the cooked rice and broccoli to a shallow bowl or plate, then top with the crispy salmon bites.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges for a fresh squeeze of flavor.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for up to 2 days. To reheat, use the air fryer for a few minutes to regain that crispy texture. Customize the Cajun seasoning to your taste, using more or less depending on your preference. Also, consider using different seasonings such as garlic powder or lemon pepper for variety.
