Ingredients
  

For the dipping sauce
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup beer Any type of beer will work.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne Adjust for spice preference.
For the potato slices
  • 2 pieces baking potatoes, unpeeled Cut into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil as needed Olive oil cooking spray For spraying the potatoes and air fryer.

Method
 

Preparation of Dipping Sauce
  1. Combine ketchup, beer, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and cayenne in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and cool. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Preparation of Potato Slices
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray the basket with cooking spray or line with a disposable parchment liner.
  2. Slice potatoes 1/4-inch thick and place them in a bowl.
  3. Spray with olive oil spray and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Cooking
  1. Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer, cooking and shaking occasionally until they are golden brown, about 14 to 17 minutes. Cook in batches if necessary.
  2. Serve with beer ketchup dipping sauce.

Notes

For even crispier potato slices, soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust seasonings to taste, and ensure the slices are cut evenly for uniform cooking.
