  • 2 cups uncooked pasta
  • 1.5 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 16 slices pepperoni (optional) Create pepperoni hearts using mini cookie cutters if desired.

Method
 

Air Fryer Method
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the air fryer basket and spread it evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  5. Cook in the air fryer at 350°F (180°C) for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Oven Method
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the pasta, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a simple side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Consider adding extra toppings like fresh basil or crushed red pepper for more flavor. To save time, use pre-cooked pasta or store-bought marinara sauce. For a crispier top, broil it in the oven for a few minutes after baking.
