Ingredients
  

For the Sauce
  • 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste) Adjust to taste for spice level
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 green onions, chopped For garnish and flavor
For the Wings
  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil For coating the wings

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, and green onions in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 4 minutes. Turn heat off and set aside.
  4. Place chicken wings in a large bowl. Add vegetable oil and massage it into the chicken until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Place wings in the basket of the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Flip wings and cook for 10 more minutes.
  3. Dip wings into the sauce mixture and stir to coat.
  4. Return wings to the air fryer basket and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Coat wings in the sauce again. Return to the air fryer basket and cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

These wings are best served hot right out of the air fryer. Pair with extra sauce for dipping, crispy vegetables, or a simple salad. Perfect for game day or family dinners.
