Preparation
- Slice 1/4-inch crosswise cuts along the kielbasa, making sure not to cut all the way through.
- In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, whole grain mustard, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Split the sauce into two bowls.
- Add mayonnaise to the first bowl and stir until smooth; this will be your dipping sauce.
- The second bowl is for glazing the kielbasa.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F (193 degrees C). Line the fryer basket with a disposable parchment liner or spray it with cooking spray.
- Cut the kielbasa into large links to fit in the air fryer basket. Pour or brush some of the mustard sauce over the sausage, ensuring that the sauce gets into the cuts.
- Place the kielbasa links in a single layer in the basket. Cook for about 7 to 9 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the sausage from the fryer, cut them into 1-inch pieces, and transfer to a serving platter. Sprinkle with chopped parsley or cilantro, if desired, and serve with the mustard dipping sauce.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for a few minutes until warmed through. For extra crispiness, cook for an additional minute or two, and experiment with different mustards or sweeteners for unique flavors.
