Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with the oil and sprinkle on the garlic and herb seasoning. Toss to coat.
Cooking
- Spritz the air fryer basket with non-stick spray and arrange the chicken in an even layer.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, shaking gently halfway through cooking, or until chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
- While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the garlic, salt, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5 minutes without letting the garlic burn.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and toss to coat.
Notes
Serve hot with extra Parmesan and herbs. Pairs well with steamed vegetables, salad, pasta, or rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave until warmed through.
