Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs or breasts Bone-in is recommended for more flavor.
  • 1 cup buttermilk Marinate chicken in buttermilk.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For coating the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For added flavor and color.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Oil spray For spraying chicken before cooking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Cooking
  1. Remove chicken from the buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
  2. Place the coated chicken in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with oil.
  3. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.

Notes

Serve hot with your favorite sides like coleslaw or mashed potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer.
