  • 1 cup Cold water For soaking the fries.
  • 2 tablespoons Oil For tossing the fries.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the potatoes into fries.
  2. Soak the fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and dry the fries well using a clean towel.
  4. Toss the fries in a bowl with a little oil and salt until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  2. Air fry the fries for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spray the fries lightly with cooking spray before air frying. Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup or mayo.
