Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 3 filets tilapia filets (thawed)
  • Sea salt (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 8 pieces flour tortillas
  • Cooking spray for greasing
For Serving
  • Lime wedges
  • Coleslaw (such as Southern Coleslaw)
  • Cilantro for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spray the air fryer with olive oil or cooking spray and preheat it to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Pat dry the fish filets with paper towels and cut each filet into 2 pieces.
  3. In a bowl, combine all spices and sprinkle them on both sides of the fish.
Cooking
  1. Place the fish in the air fryer basket and air fry on one side for 4 minutes.
  2. Flip the fish and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Warm the tortillas in the air fryer for a few seconds or heat them in a non-stick skillet.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the fish tacos by adding fish, coleslaw, and cilantro into the warmed tortillas.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep the fish and tortillas in separate airtight containers. Reheat the fish and warm the tortillas before assembling to maintain texture.
