  2. Slice the peppers and onion into strips and add them to the bowl with the steak.
  3. Drizzle the oil over the steak and vegetables.
  4. In a small bowl, combine all of the seasonings: chili powder, cumin, sugar, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne. Stir well.
  5. Sprinkle the spice blend over the steak and vegetables, mixing well to coat everything evenly.
Cooking
  1. Place the mixture in an oiled air fryer basket.
  2. Cook at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes, shaking the basket gently every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with tortillas and toppings such as sour cream, salsa, guacamole, shredded cheese, and fresh cilantro.

Notes

Make sure to cut the steak against the grain for more tender strips. Marinate the steak for 30 minutes to an hour before cooking for extra flavor. Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms for variety. Adjust the level of spice by adding more cayenne or including hot peppers in the mix.
