  • 1 slice Bread Use thicker slices for a heartier dish.
  • 1 large Egg Can be substituted with egg whites if preferred.

  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Cheese Add on top before finishing the cooking for melting.

Preparation
  1. Press down the center of a slice of bread.
  2. Crack an egg into the indentation.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Air fry at 350°F for about 6–8 minutes.
  2. Optionally, add cheese on top and let it melt right at the end.

Notes

Serve hot with toppings like avocado slices, hot sauce, or herbs. Pairs well with fruit or coffee. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days and reheat in the air fryer.
