  • 3 pieces potatoes Starchy varieties like Russet or Yukon Gold recommended
  • 2 tbsp oil Any cooking oil of your choice
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • to taste tsp garlic powder Optional seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the potatoes into thin fries.
  2. Soak the cut fries in cold water for 20–30 minutes to make them extra crispy.
  3. After soaking, dry the fries completely with a towel.
  4. Toss the dried fries with oil and the seasonings until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  2. Air fry the fries for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.

Notes

Serve with your favorite dips like ketchup or mayonnaise. For added flavor, sprinkle fresh herbs or cheese on top. If storing leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer to regain crispiness.
