Ingredients
  

Chicken Preparation
  • 4 pieces Chicken pieces Bone-in or boneless, your choice.
  • 1 cup Buttermilk For marinating.
Breading Mixture
  • 1 cup Flour For coating the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For flavor.
Cooking
  • as needed Oil spray For coating the air fryer basket and chicken.

Method
 

Marination
  1. Place chicken pieces in a bowl and cover them with buttermilk. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Preparation
  1. In a separate bowl, mix flour with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off.
  4. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coat on all sides.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  2. Place chicken in the basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
  3. Spray the tops of the chicken lightly with oil.
  4. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight in buttermilk. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (75°C). Experiment with different spices for customized flavors.
