Ingredients

Chicken Wings
  • 4 pounds chicken wings
Seasonings
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Sauce
  • 0.5 stick butter (melted)
  • 0.5 cup Frank's hot sauce
  • 0.5 cup Ken's chunky blue cheese dressing
  • 3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese or gorgonzola (optional) Optional for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Season the wings with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for better flavor.
Cooking
  1. Air fry the wings in batches at 400°F (200°C) for 22 to 25 minutes until crispy.
  2. While the wings cook, whisk together melted butter and Frank's hot sauce in a bowl.
  3. If using, mix Ken's blue cheese dressing with crumbled blue cheese or gorgonzola in a separate bowl.
  4. Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a mixing bowl, pour over the sauce, and toss to coat evenly.

Notes

Serve the wings hot with celery sticks and carrot sticks for a nice crunch. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place wings back in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 to 7 minutes.
