Ingredients

For the Pie Bombs
  • 1 can (16 ounces) Grands biscuits Larger size preferred for proper filling containment.
  • 1 cup blueberry pie filling Canned filling ideal for thickness.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter Used for brushing on dough and adding richness.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Creates a crunchy, sweet crust.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the can of biscuits and separate the dough rounds.
  3. Flatten each dough round to approximately 5-6 inches in diameter.
  4. Place 1.5-2 tablespoons of blueberry pie filling in the center of each round.
  5. Seal the edges by gathering the dough around the filling and pinching tightly. Roll each sealed ball to smooth it out.
  6. Brush the exterior of each bomb with melted butter.
  7. Roll the buttered bombs in granulated sugar, ensuring an even coating.
Cooking
  1. Place the coated bombs seam-side down in the air fryer basket, spacing them at least an inch apart.
  2. Cook at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, checking for golden color and caramelized sugar.
  3. Allow the bombs to cool for 3-4 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm and enjoy immediately for the best texture. For storage, refrigerate unsealed bombs and cook fresh when needed. Consider dusting with powdered sugar before serving.
