Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces Russet potatoes Choose medium to large for best texture.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For rubbing on the potatoes.
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt For seasoning the potatoes.
Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For serving.
  • 2 tablespoons Sour cream For serving.
  • Seasoning To taste, can include chives, cheese, or bacon bits.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rub the Russet potatoes with a little olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt.
  2. Microwave the potatoes for 5 minutes to give them a head start.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the potatoes in the air fryer and cook for 20-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skins are crispy and the insides are fluffy.
  2. Split the baked potatoes open, add butter, sour cream, and sprinkle with seasoning before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They are best enjoyed within a few days. To reheat, place them back in the air fryer for a few minutes or microwave for quick reheating. Experiment with different seasonings to find your favorite flavor.
