  • 12 pieces ice cream sandwiches
  • 2 cups Cool Whip Make sure it's thawed completely for easy spreading.
  • 1 cup strawberry topping Feel free to mix and match toppings.
  • 1 cup blueberry topping
  • to taste red, white, and blue sprinkles For decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Layer 6 ice cream sandwiches in a 9x13 inch dish.
  2. Spread half of the Cool Whip over the ice cream sandwiches.
  3. Drizzle half of the strawberry topping and half of the blueberry topping over the Cool Whip.
  4. Repeat with the remaining ingredients, layering 6 more ice cream sandwiches, the other half of the Cool Whip, and the remaining toppings.
  5. Top with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
  6. Freeze for about 2 hours before serving.
Serving
  1. Take the dessert out of the freezer about 10 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
  2. Serve directly from the dish using a spatula or cake server.
  3. For an extra touch, add a dollop of extra Cool Whip or more fresh fruit on each serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers tightly covered in the freezer for up to a week. This dessert can be made a day in advance.
