Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup lime juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1 cup sugar Adjust based on taste preference.
  • 4 cups water Divided into portions for mixing flavors.
Flavor Variations
  • 1 cup pineapple juice For tropical pineapple mango flavor.
  • 1 cup strawberry puree For sweet strawberry flavor.
  • 1 cup blackberry puree For bold blackberry flavor.
  • 1 cup blue raspberry syrup For icy blue tropical flavor.
  • Ice Ice For serving.
  • to taste Fresh fruit for garnish Optional for presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a pitcher, mix lime juice and sugar until dissolved.
  2. Add 2 cups of water and stir well.
  3. For each flavor variation, divide the limeade into separate containers.
  4. To the first container, add pineapple juice; to the second, add strawberry puree; to the third, add blackberry puree; and to the fourth, add blue raspberry syrup.
  5. Add the remaining water to each flavor mixture and stir.
Serving
  1. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh fruit if desired.

Notes

Store leftover limeade in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best taste, consume within a day or two.
