Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite meltable variety)
  • 4 cups cooked pasta (rotini or elbow macaroni)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 7–8 minutes until fully browned. Drain off any excess fat.
  3. Add the soup to the cooked beef. Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to allow the flavors to come together.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the prepared baking dish. Pour the beef and soup mixture over the pasta and stir gently to combine.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  2. Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving to help it set and cool slightly.

Notes

Customize with your favorite veggies or switch up the soup or cheese. Add a pinch of garlic powder, onion powder, or Italian seasoning for extra flavor, and bake an extra 5 minutes for a crispy cheese topping.
